Agreed.Would be good to make 3 divisions between the three comps.
Agreed.Would be good to make 3 divisions between the three comps.
Would make it more interesting for the weaker schools and give the school's that are playing lower division, more of a drive to succeed and make the "top division."Agreed.
Again I agree, Would allow for the competition to be competitive, and give teams a chance to prove themselvesWould make it more interesting for the weaker schools and give the school's that are playing lower division, more of a drive to succeed and make the "top division."

Don't forget Cameron Mackenzie he should be in that lineupStrong effort.
back row - has Nuilala from Trinity left? Thought he was only u17. same with max Meagher at 2 - he was in u16 last year.
- Dene from barker did will at 10 this year, coming in young. Will be tough to dislodge.
- the Cranbrook centre Tovio is class. Must be in the mix.
- presume Casswell and not Jecks at 14?
No chance of a change to the association games. GPS home and away worked well and CAS and ISA working OK, except for a couple of weaker teams falling away.Problem is 1. 100+ yrs of history, and 2. Rankings can change pretty quickly, and year groups can be very different.
(And 3. The GPS seemed pretty happy with it's 2 round comp this year - not sure if it will work as well in future years)
Personally think best case is a few trial games, then play the CAS and ISA comps in the remainder of Term 2.
Also means everyone has played each other before rep selections.
And then on the basis of those performances you have some kind of combined cup for Term 3.

Can I be a bit judgmental about both of you using the incorrect spelling of the word judgmental ?I prefer to be realistic mate, not 'judgemental'

Rumours coming out of Aloys Camp, Scholarships are now being awarded with a new budget.
We may see Aloys getting a win this year, or maybe even 2 Cranbrook and Trinity my prediction.
So updated ladder

2. Knox
3. Barker
4. Aloys
5. Cranbrook
6. Trinity

Cranbrook's 2nd XV 9 (Marchant, year 11) this year was outstanding, I think he was better than the 1st XV 9 for Cranbrook (which understandably sounds stupid), he may very well have a good shot at this, as well as Jed Smith, playing CAS 2's last year (out of his preferred position) and still putting up a solid performance. Tovio should be a given at 12 or 13, going into his 3rd year of 1st XV rugby next year.Predicted CAS 1s
