Stop posting about the "arrangement" between Knox and Waverley.

This is now a general warning. No one has been banned, YET.

The next poster on the matter will be banned.

If you can't play nicely on here, the thread will be placed in lockdown.

With the season nearly over, it would be a shame if the Moderators had to do that because of the ignorant behaviour of others.

If you feel strongly on the matter, then take it up with the School you are associated with.

Strangely, although this is the closest competition in six or seven years, it ends this weekend with a sense of anticlimax. In theory, three results are possible: Knox could be outright premiers, Waverley could be outright premiers, or the title could be shared. In practice, Knox (W8, L1) is at home to St Aloysius (W0, L9) and Waverley (W8, L1) is at home to Barker (won against St Aloysius twice, L7). They say that any odds are good odds in a two horse race, but it's next to impossible to see an upset in either game, and a shared title seems like a foregone conclusion (and, overall, a fair outcome).

Oh, and Cranbrook plays Trinity for a share of third spot. Trinity edged this one last time, and has coped better than Cranbrook with injuries - I sense Trinity just getting ahead in this one, too, not that very much turns on it.

Waverley and Knox to be joint premiers with Waverley finishing on top on points differential. Trinity to come third.

Seriously...like a broken record.. Joint title holders thats the CAS rules. Points difference depends which way you look at it for and against or head to head..lets move on well done to all teams this year..
That said Waverly will be red hot favourites next year...look forward to watching Bell at 9 think he will be a real match winner

The points for and against are part of the CAS competition table. Just a matter of interest. Waverley are on +240, Knox +221.

Knox looking unbeatable at training this week.

Will leave Alos decimated on Saturday.

I feel sorry for the year 12 boys, it will be a hard last game for them in yellow.

Knox should bounce back to form and go well against Aloys. Knox by 30.
Waverley should be too strong for Barker. Waverley by 40 +.
Trinity by 15 over Cranbrook to tie up 3rd spot.
Good luck and well done to all Year 12 players for their last game.

reports are circling out of cranbrook that young Oscar May in yr10 will make his 1XV debut this weekend against trinity, same boy who got picked for cas u16. Should be interesting to see how he goes against big Wayland who i hear is coming off the bench in the second half. Good luck to the young boy

Hi BM, it's that Wavverley parent again. I am sure we are all grateful that the weather will be good tomorrow, don't like wet it stifles great footy in my opinion. Having listened to many "forward dads" they love it, but truth is its badly boring and suits non athletes. Can't wait for the "piggy" responses,my answer to them will be : yes Cleary you can't win without the ball but a pick and drive game ALL day is not worth watching. Sure Knox will win tomorrow, think a joint win is a fair result. Hope you boy does well, and if he is in year 10 or 11' we will see you again next year.

A great prospect for Cranbrook. Missed the CAS rep season with an injury.

hard to see any chance of the applecart being upset this weekend

I gather Cranbrook has really been hit by injuries ... and Glastras joins the long injury list

good luck to the young May ... I gather his old man was an Aussie Schoolboy?

however with Cranbrook so depleted, I would have to tip Trinity in a convincing win

I think Aloys and Barker will be courageous ... however as Sideline has highlighted the primary interest is now, who finishes with the best "for-and-against".

Even without their normal 10 ... who is on one of the school's great initiatives ... Waverley with a backline that features Jordan, Fuller, Mohi and the latest star (Hardaker) is going to play some entertaining rugby
