Trinity 23 beat Cranbrook 14 in the Seconds. Best on ground was Harrison Stewart, who played a blinder for the losing side.

62-7 with a kick to come as Longville scores a magnificent individual try... Also looking likely for CAS 1sts I dare say.

20 - 21 to Knox incredibly close game both teams would be dissapointed. If diamond had converted thelast second try aloys would have won.

Wow is all I can say, interesting results, I had to leave Hornsby at the end of the 2nds for other commitments. 2nds were down 15-0 and had a fabulous comeback. Convincing win. Waiting for someone to post Waves score in 1st XV. Congrats to Trinity and very unlucky to Aloys, looking for a great game next week at Death Valley. Someone please giant kill Knox!

Barker v Waverley 2nd XV

halftime was 15/7 Barker up.

2 quick tries to Waverley had them 21/15 with 10 to go.

Barker bombed a certain try which would have closed the gap but some nice team work by the Waves assisted by an appalling referee decision to yellow card a Barker lad saw Waves score to make it 26/15.

Barker responded with a man down to score again but fail to convert 26/20.

Final try to waves made to fulltime 31/20.

Most disappointing was the behavior of the lads in Blue. Even the Waverley headmaster was shaking his head with disappointment.

Winning is nice, but being winning graciously takes true character.

Other than clapping the other team off, shaking their hands and that if the refs, what else should they have done to make sure they were gracious?

The barker yellow happened as waves took the lead and was for a late high shot, so maybe they should learn to lose with grace first?

Match report please Waves v Barker -WTHH?!?!
Knox V SAC - always dangerous at Tyneside - but seriously .....is there much pos psychology going on in the Knox 1's inner sanctum of mindsets! This would appear to be the unloseable year with great experience & match winners across the park. Sure ...a few back stars are out but one in particular can b a hog and surely they don't drop 20-40 points in their absence!? As for Trinity - they are improving in leaps & bounds .....a young PE teacher not good enough to get a job @ Knox - scarred with the poisoned chalice of being an Old Boy - but it's a superb record he had at Waverley as a coach before being poached by Trinity & he ain't even 30! As for Cranbrook - the 2013 16 A Cas champs - very disappointing ! Why ?! Over n out

I'll take second to this, seeing I was sitting with the headmaster, I'll say otherwise haha
