Your facts are wrong . Why put up information that you are only guessing.
James Lough left Barker because his mother moved to the Northern Beaches and St Augustines
Is just up the road. Makes for far less travel. James and Luke Lough are both full paying students
and have no intention of leaving for any other school. FACT not made up
Ok, no need to get so defensive. As somebody who follows lower age groups very loosely in CAS I managed to take notice of young James lough due to the fact that he was far more advanced in his skill sets as a rugby player over his fellow peers - across all schools. Why did I speculate? Forgive me on this one but it's not very common for people to move houses and then change schools as a consequence within the first 2 years of attending high school. Especially if you move from the north shore (where i imagine he was living before) to the northern beaches - an area that a substantial portion of barker students reside. The amount of time that would be saved on travel to barker in comparison to the time he would previously have been spending to get there sort of fades into insignificance when one considers the hassle and effort of changing schools.
This combined with the fact that he moved from a school that strictly doesn't provide sport scholarships, yet has a sound rugby program (that a bulk of money is invested into), to a school that performs at a substantially lower levels academically also sent alarm bells ringing. Finally, the last thing that lead to this 'speculation' was the fact that i heard wind of a scholarship offer from riverview which he had turned down... The validity of this information may not be 100% but you can understand my point of view now.
To answer your question as to why I'd post this, simply because I saw another post In regard to another player that had supposedly been imported by Augustine's and in response to earlier comments on this thread I was genuinely intrigued to know why Augustine's import for a code that isn't their preferred sport.
I don't know the kids personal circumstances and I don't pretend to, and I'm sorry if it offended you that I used him as an example when I wasn't 100% certain on facts, but I'd suggest to you that unless you're a relative of the child, James himself, or you have access to Augustine's accounts then you are about as informed on the matter as I am.
I'll leave this totally irrelevant tangent from this thread there. If you want to discuss the issue further or correct me on anything I've said feel free to do so, that's what these forums are for.
