Thanks for that Nod. I don't know why folks are saying that the blog is spam. It sounds like the old Rat.

I've tried 3 times to post something on the blog but it didn't take somehow. The last time it said I've already posted that but it's still not there.

I'll try shutting down and restarting my computer later tonight. It usually fixes most things.

As it happens the spam filters on the blog have gone a bit fierce (I blame trolling Kiwis). Will check to see if your comment got snaffled Lee

This has happened to me too from my home laptop but worked fine on my work laptop.

Yeah, you were in the folder with the Viagra sellers. Any reason why your IP address should be so closely related Lee?

(I have no idea why some ips get flagged up. Means I have to go through 100 spam comments / day to find a coupla real ones)

I have a pic that comes up on the blog but I have no idea how it got there. It isn't my profile pic and I don't think it ever was.

Cam's residential qualification comes up shortly, he's expressed interest on playing for Italy. Good to see an Australian lad make his way in the wider rugby world. But a part of me regrets there wasn't a place for him in an Australian team somewhere.

Sean, amonst other things, writes on the history of both codes and is the guru on colonial rugby in Oz:

If you click on: http://www.colonialrugby.com.au/

.... and read Tom Hickie's book "They Ran With The Ball" there's not a lot else that needs to be known about colonial rugby.
