I think they're assuming they have already bought them.

The SoO must be denting sales. Can people afford to go to both?

SoO tix were pre sold months ago, so people can surely afford this. Reds members presale is on now; so you'd hope that somewhere between 15k and 20k tix are already gone....

Looking forward to seeing the all you other Sydneysiders at the airport on Saturday morning..

Can't wait got my tickets today thanks to a member. Think il make a week of rugby and go watch the training sessions for both camps.
If you're making it a week of rugby CC, then can I suggest you head out to Ballymore for the Aust School Championships and check out future OZ talent. Bound to be some good rugby on out there.

For those that don't bother with the schools thread but might be interested in the results, some upsets already with Victoria beating NSW II and Combined States spanking Qld II yesterday. Biggest winners of the day were Qld I.

I'm pretty sure thats correct I've got quite a few team mates in the NSW Country side (who unfortunatley were beaten by QLD and Sydney the other day) they mentioned something about the ACT playing today. Wouldnt be surprised if ACT took it out, played them myself when I was in the Hunter team, ACT dont have the best forward pack but a couple of their backs are lighting fast. I'll put the results up in a separate thread if I get all the info later.

St George Bank will pay for your tickets to the game. RedsFanbank comp has relaunched until midday thursday, so if you have any photos or vids proving your a hardcore Reds fan - send them in! (this should not be difficult for you HodgoBerro). Details of comp are on Reds facebook.

Would be up to you to sort out the transport to Brisbane though. Or you could ride a bike if you started tomorrow!

I was sitting at a pub with a mate in Amsterdam watching the last NSW v Crusaders final and cheering for the Tahs...

It's dawned on me since moving to NSW that the media down here massively beat-up how much QLD fans apparently hate NSW people, dwelling in the past perhaps?
the Daily Telegraph is tabloid journalism at best..

Well, it's impossible to get tickets from the ticketek website now. Also know people trying to get tickets at 9am this morning and they failed to get tickets as well. Looks like it will be a packed house.

Keep trying, they are releasing the odd ticket from time to time.

Can we enliven you with a pre-match broadcast (and a favourable result) from the Heritage Belgian Beer Cafe on Friday evening? Much less expensive, far better value. And a medico on hand to boot, if I'm allowed to mix metaphors.
