Thought the Brumbies were the better team, but the backs let down the forwards a bit and blew a couple of golden opportunities.

Stop right there. You are entering the domain of conspiracy theories surrounding refs that require you to have a certain accent and pronounce a "g" like you're choking on a piece of dried meat.

Nic White awesome. Motm just in front of Mowen. If Matt To'omua's passes had gone to hand at critical stages, he would be being praised all over the land today. Brumbies need to keep attacking more to add the polish to finish off moves.

I thought it was a great high intensity game. Sure their were errors but it felt like they were forced. There were lots of games within the game, the scrum, restarts and goal line defense.

There were a lot of missed tackles and line breaks, the latter too high for the brumbies and may be something of a concern. The Canes will feel unlucky because they were always in touch and nearly overtook the brumbies, but then the home team breached the try line twice without scoring, so the margin could have been even greater.
