The Brumbies should hopefully dominate the set pieces in this match... and will probably need to for a win if Giteau gets the crabs...

There is enough strikepower in that backline that if Giteau is actually capable of managing it well then all of our tries won't be scored by forwards and halfbacks...

At least To'omua is on the bench...

Excited to see how Coleman, Vaea and Palmer go...

Hoiles is not 100% just yet...

Otherwise he'd probably be captaining...

It will be interesting if Vaea has a blinder... there's still Elsom to come back also...

That back 3 can cause damage if presented with kicks down their throats, so kick it to the shithouse....

What about Coleman's introduction to professional rugby; starting debut for Brumbies last week against Nonu, now starting Super debut against Umanga.. guess we'll find out if he's up to it.

I would say the Brumbies should just hold onto the ball...

They kicked the ball way too much last year...

They had the most metres run with ball in hand of any Super Rugby team last year. Can't be kicking too much.

No Kimlin and no locks on the bench. I guess Chapman can cover. Is Michael Hooper out of favour or injured?

Chapman would be covering lock, with Finger covering 6,7 and Hoiles covering 8.

Hooper played the trial games but is behind Salvi and Fainga'a in the 7 pecking order. Fainga'a also trailed as 6 and has played there in the past so addes more versatility off the bench with Elsom out.

Chiefs notorious slow starters... though have been a bit a boogieman team for the Brumbies in past years. They have an incredible back 3 but Speight knows their game as a former Chiefs Waikato player...

Stats are fun aren't they? Kick returns was one of their big problems, too much aerial ping pong, not enough leveraging opportunities

chiefs won there first 3 games in 2010 including the Sharks in Rd1 in Durban....

Hardly what i would call notoriously slow starters, if anything they are guilty of late season fadeouts

Decent Brumbies line up there, and importantly, a strong looking bench. Be very interesting to see how the debutant 8, 12 and 14 go.

Good for Coleman, I really hope he does well. Looked sensational for the Under 20's last year.
