Brumbies v Force Rd2 Saturday 22 February GIO Stadium, Canberra 7:35pm

That try with 13 men away from home to take the lead has to be one of the all-time great Force tries given the circumstances.

BPA and Tizzano were huge in that movement

Saumaisue was notable for looking exhausted and way offside for most of the last 10 phases, even though he had just come on, and also for getting away with it. A concerning passage of play for him

I fixed your dick statement. Free of charge.
Well, all three players, Pietsch, Williams and Donaldson have all flourished with good coaching so yeh, there’s that too. Waratahs under Coleman were poor. That’s why a lot wanted out .. even Gordon who was talked around. It will be interesting to see if McKellar can get the best out of a great squad.

I think Coleman is a good coach but his record at top level reflects his experience and maybe his ceiling.

There are so many moving parts to getting a professional rugby team right, but what I know is that any franchise with 10 injuries in the front row isn't going to be able to make the most out of its outside backs.

I think its no coincidence that all of the stand out performers mentioned in this thread have flourished under Crons guidance. Tizzano and Williams have been exceptiopnal, Hamish was good at the Reds but stepped to another level at WF.

Hamish hasn't improved from his solid super level at the Reds. Tizzano the same from the 'Tahs too.

Think Hamish is the exact same player he was under Thorn tbh. He's never let anyone down.

Tizzano and Williams have also been able to play at the Force as they come into their prime years at 25 and 24. I was happy to see White playing a lot better then he was last year.

He is a machine. Nice to see other parts of his game are evolving too.
The extra size has given him a lot more punch on attack.

McReight is still the more complete 7 for his link play and over the ball work, but if Tizzano starts getting more pilfers he'll be right up there for the Wallabies spot.

Just another nice stat. When was the last time so much cheese was handed out and Swain wasn’t the recipient of any.

the move west has been good for him so far and would love to see him in wallaby gold again

I never saw him making a comeback. But he had an immense game.

Good group of Locks developing/comeback if we can hold them in Aus. Swain was good, Williams good and Canham had a really good start for the Reds and it's exciting to see what he will do as he settles into that pack. He in particular has some intangibles that are different from the others and things you cant teach athletically. I'm not directly comparing him at this stage but it's similar to things we saw Retallick do. A rip a way to a semi line break and offload type play that we never see from the lumbering guys.
