Must win for the Brumbies and the Chiefs. I'm hoping that the Hux return will fire them up. Smith is a big loss though. Chisolm dropped to the bench - I think he's been good this year.

Gits at 12 and To'omua at 10. Could be a beautiful thing.

Can anyone remember the last time Gits and Morty played in the centres? WC 07 v England?

Elsom was great last week - needs to be even better this week.

Having just been at their training, Hux looks like he could start. He was certainly getting some distance on his kicks too. It was like watching a cannon firing.

He'd want to, having spent the last two years as kicking coach the bar should be high!

I think Rugby fans everywhere hope Hux goes well.

Foxsports still have to add him to the Fantasy team...

I'll pick him if he's in the starting 15, not on the bench though

Chapman at Lock. Finally. Hopefully he emerges as a genuine Wallaby contender in the position.

Though maybe, just maybe, this selection has something to do with shouldering some of Hooper's workload?

Well, a good win by the Ponies. Played some good footy, played some not so good. Entertaining to watch, no doubt.
Moore, Alexander, Hooper good up front, Phibbs, Gits, To'omua, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and McCabe good at the back. Solid comeback for Huxley (well done, that man) who came on early after Frankie broke himself.

Brumbies should have put them away.

They just aren't playing intelligent rugby like we're use to.

They had a gazillion overlaps for 20 minutes and kept the ball in the forwards.

Jus not realising potential and maybe it's a leadership issue? Seems like nobody was making calls when they needed to change the way they played.

Can't see either of these teams winning this thing.

Maybe not, Blue, but they made a lot of opportunities, and that is ahead of where they were a few weeks ago.
Looked so much better with To'omua at 10, and Gits at 12. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) more dangerous "roving" and Huxley solid at the back.
Yeah, the piggies should have let it go a few times, but there were plenty of good signs there.

Good comeback from Hux. Congratulations to him. He showed that he can still have a very positive effect on the Brumbies season.

Giteau looked much better at 12, but he has to stop making so many mistakes with the boot. Some very average kicks in there.

I don't want to be too rude to the great man, but I thought Mortlock looked pedestrian out there. Behind the pace, falling off tackles and taking poor options. If he continues like that he may not finish this season as a XV Brumby, let alone Wallaby.

+ 1 this. To'omua 10, Gits 12, /hux 15 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) roving is the winner methinks. The polish will come - it is still quite early in the S15, and this win was essential.
