Yeah but I think Tyrone would like to be the kind of player that Ranger is... Unfortunately tonight showed he isn't in the same park..

Well Ranger did the damage out wide with some poor defense from Tyrone. Happy with the Brumby forwards although too many mistackles and errors. Blues scrum was absolutely smashed again.
A bit tough on Tyrone I think. Ranger is a lot of player to stop when he is like that.

You make those tackles and you win the game though. Blues hit one of those patches of destruction.

god brumbies were crap in the second half. one on one tackles terrible and defensive patterns not working

Because Woodcock is a myth and not nearly as good when Hayman isn't on the other side.

Saw a small part of the game when leaving work, and have to say Gits' utter failure to knock Ranger down was a pretty big moment.

Hayman wasn't on the other side last year when he saw off Baxter.

Great game. Apart from the Red's mighty victories, the best this season. Hoiles and T Smith were the difference, unfortunately because they were so poor.

:nta: By "saw off" you mean "got driven backwards then awarded a penalty by the ref for collapsing under pressure"?

Great result for the Stormers and Brutes :yay A Pitty the Blues still let the BumBoys pinch a point. Stormers still 2 ahead on them with 1 game in hand, Brutes even better with 3 ahead and 2 games in hand. Dont have much hope for the Blues, they still have to play both at home and have to tour.

Hope this ended the BumBoys poaching of the odd one.

The BumBoy Bitches (Stormers) have got to travel. They will struggle.

In NZ yes, but in Sydney, Baxter was dissapointing. He's marked by the refs though.

How destructive would a midfield of Nonu and Ranger be? Unstoppable.

nonu is only good when conrad smith is balancing the mental quota outside him and even then not always. pair him with ranger and i think you'd see a power of knock ons, bombed tries, and other general stupidity.

so yeah, hope they do it :yay

Saw Ranger interviewed after the game - jeez he's young and looks nervous in front of a camera. :) The interviewer kind of saw this after the first few questions and then let him go :lmao:
