With Giteau, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Edmonds, Chapman and potentially Elsom gone at the end of 2011, what's with the Brumbies lack of recruitment for 2012 and beyond.

It's time to step it up and like the Rebels signing of Beale, Phipps, Pyle and O'Connor (if rumours in today's press are true), take the initiative and give some hope to your supporters by doing the same.

Hopefully the potential signing of Jake White as coach might swing things around, but by then it could be too late !!!

You said it yourself, the first person the Brumbies need to sign is a head coach. The right head coach will attract players to the ACT. The Brumbies may be going back to their original successful formula to targeting the best juniors and discards of NSW and Queensland. I wouldn't be too worried about the players that are leaving as most of them have been playing on reputation (form v class argument) and next year will bring new life to the Brumbies.

The Mules have a more poisonous environment than the Tahs. Who would want to sign there who have the chance to go elsewhere? Unless of course you get the job of Mule Players Unions leader and chief selector when the Mule saviour Giteau leaves.

The Brumbies still have players like Lealifano and To'omua on there books, they are quality players, they just haven't been given game time in the right positions.

Any good players running round in the canberra comp?

You'd think that one of their 3 young opensides might head elsewhere at the end of the season. I dont think salvi is really up to super rugby standard.

I've said it before and ill say it again, the brumbies need wingers, and josh dugan is a great athlete, and a local boy. Get on that.

Well, they did just re-sign Moore, McCabe, Fainga'a and Alexander... As well as promoting Vaea and Owen...

Most of the young ones are already signed in, and they're just lacking a hooker, LH prop and a couple of locks...

But yes, they haven't poached anyone yet... But that should happen when they annOunce a new coach...

As for players not wanting to join up due to the supposed "poisonous" environment... Somehow I think players would be attracted to the concept of player power...

Maybe not coaches (and fans), but certainly players...

Is Chapman a confirmed departure? Apparently the Rebels are after Chis as well.

Chapman is off to Japan...

Brumbies need Kimlin's signature ASAP...

They might also look at bringing back Battye who is getting no game time at the Force and plucking another lock from somewhere...

Surely Chis would want the OS money...

I forgot that the Brumbies also signed that Tpulon backrower...

The good ones usually end up in Sydney anyway.

This is a complete joke - that guy is his own biggest fan and will tell all and sundry about it all day if he could. Makes Quade Cooper look like a saint to be honest.

Josh Dugan wouldn't leave league, young up and comer close to breaking into Origin, doubt that anything the Brumbs could throw at him he would accept.

Plus the Brumby Jacks reasons aren't exactly what you look for in a signing.

Backline next year for the Brumbies:
9. White
10. To'omua
11. Fainifo/Crook
12. Coleman
13. McCabe
14. Speight/Crook
15. Lealiifano

That still has potential to be a good backline, no wonder they are chasing Morahan, they look to be missing a decent set of wingers
