Why is it ok for Arnold to tackle the player at the back of the maul to the ground there? Isn't that collapsing it?

My guess is You can only collapse a mall that is going forward.

Im pretty suree you can tackle the ball carrier can't you in a maul you just can't drag it down at the front ?

plausible, also possibly the ball carrier lost his bind on the rest of the maul and then can be tackled, but is Arnold then onside?
