The Ghost of Raelene

Yeah, I hate Randwick but Hoiles is a Rugby guy through and through. Could imagine some of the older brigade might not like him but players do and I think he reaches a new generation of players better than some older coaches.

Unfortunately I dont think we've kept lachlan hooper - he got a framed picture along with the other departing players and staff. He was only contracted for 2025 so my guess is Waratahs. Would be closer to Bathurst as well for him. Bit of a shame as there were big wraps on him.

Maybe I'm reading a bit too much into this but I suspect even pre-injury that Lolesio had only planned on going to Japan for a year before returning to the Brumbies

This is Larkham on Lolesio

"It's part and parcel of the game. We'll see where he gets to. Maybe down the track, when he comes back to rugby in Australia, we look at defending him ... hide him in the tracks and put him in places where you're not going to have those big bodies running at you the whole time."

Sounds rather matter of fact

I think that was already confirmed?

SMH in April

"Wallabies five-eighth Noah Lolesio has potentially put his hopes of playing in the upcoming British and Irish Lions series and the World Cup in 2027 in jeopardy after deciding to play club rugby in Japan next year with an option to extend another season."
