BR - the tension at the admin level probably cannot be fixed until the proximate cause is investigated and either prosecuted or not - blame can then be attributed - then the band-aids can come out.

I hope it does not affect the playing group

Yeah, there might be some chargeable criminality.

Or might not.

Even if no charges are made, that doesn't mean there's not a problem.

The parlaying of their property proceeds into some sort of rental arrangement - allegedly against the advice of their own lawyers - doesn't seem like something a smart, competent and transparent organisation should be doing.

There might still be a case for a broom to be put through the joint anyway.

The Reds have had a bit of clean out. The Brumbies might need a bigger one.

Really, as a player im sure they dont really care.. There jobs to play footy win footy and train.. I'm sure they probably just interested spectators like the rest of us ..

I think it reasonable to expect that it will affect how some players perform on the field. When there is a lot of instability in the organisation it is likely to impact on most employees in some way. Uncertainty is not a good thing particularly when it's uncertainty about how the future of your employer will look.

I also posted this in the match thread, but the Brumbies could potentially drop down to third in the Australian conference after next week if they don't pull their collective thumb out of their ass............

Saders today, Highlanders away next week, and then the Bulls at home make for a tough few weeks............

However, the Tahs head to South Africa so that might prevent disaster.

All well and good, but imo we are much more in need of a handy 7. If anyone still thinks Jarrad Butler is a 7 after the pasting from the Cru, then they are sorely mistaken. Very good player, not a pilfering 7 who puts a lot of heat on opposition rucks.

If we're going to use that game to determine the roster we'll require an entirely new team..........

Butler will be a fine 7, as he's displayed in the past, and the Brumbies are not going to find anyone better..........

They definitely need a new line breaking forward though to compensate for the loss of Vaea.

In the meantime the Brumbies have more pressing matters, like Moore being unlikely to play this week and Tomane possibly out for the next two months.........

From the original 8 weeks, Speight could still be out for up to three more weeks.

Presumably Dargaville be will get a start on the wing.

Big shoes to fill though.

with regards to the latter comment, Lolo may be but his manager may not.

Which in turn may impact how correct the first statement is.

i think after Pocock, with due deference to Matt Hodgson, Gill is the next best out and out pilferer. McMahon brings a whole different skill set to the position.
