The article suggested the NRC broadcast times weren’t locked in yet, we may see the Rising v NSW Country time change to reflect the 5pm timeslot
no mention of that in the official draw that came out. I did get that Rising game time wrong though, as its in Adelaide. Time updated now.

Wedding anniversary is going to be a good one. Haha. Might be my last.
But the company said the cost of the rights had increased "materially" and represented a record investment by Sky in New Zealand and SANZAAR rugby.
Here in NZ Sky, who lost the RWC rights to a telco streaming service, have won the SANZAAR rights for another five years. Figure rumoured to be in the order of $NZ400Mn & interestingly as part of the deal NZR now has a 5% stake in Sky which still has ~400K subscribers even after losing almost half their customers in the last few years.
SANZAAR rights included in the dealIs it Saanzaar rights or NZRU rights WOB? I got impression it was rights to Tests and Mitre 10 etc etc , as thought only Saanzaar could sell the Super rights.
Ok mate, I assumed SANZAAR sold them, but what do I know And if I had read your post I would of seen thatSANZAAR rights included in the deal
I think the implication is that SANZAAR did sell them, NZRU act as their agent/representative in this caseOk mate, I assumed SANZAAR sold them, but what do I know And if I had read your post I would of seen that
I think they negotiate the Currie Cup, Mitre 10 and NRC seperately these days, with the proceeds from TRC and Super Rugby going to to a common pot, and then split between each of the 4 members (but not an equal split).^ isn't it the case that each member Union gets what it can for the rights to matches staged on their territory & turns over a percentage to SANZAAR? Or did they centralise things after SARU got sprung over-valuing the Currie Cup component of a deal (which they got to keep) thereby undervaluing the RC & Super Rugby components that they had to share?
