Interesting that they have split the Tupou's up: Criff in Brisbane City, and Taniela in Qld Country.

QLD Country has Lolo Fakaosilea at number 8 who is a likely starter and Brisbane City has good depth at prop with Talakai and Paraka.. Faagase has switched form Brisbane City to QLD Country for the same reason, evening out the depth in the front row.

Personally I would have preferred Taniela to train and play under Stiles, but QLD Country will offer greater playing opportunity.

well that captures it. A distinct lack of locks with no Kotze nor McDuling from last year. Moore and Hyne probably the form guys

Squad out..

Liam Gill is Captain..

Assistant Coach (Attack): Rod Seib
Assistant Coach (Defence): Shane Arnold

Caderyn Neville is part of Brisbane City as well, so he will be a starting lock.

The selection of Tim Smith is definitely well deserved. He has been Wests' best for many years.

I agree T12. He was the only good Tigers player in the GF loss. Mullins was consistent for the whole season.
