It would be a damn shame if they didn't.

One of the crucial pieces we're missing from out 3rd tier is open contracts. We sign everyone up pre-NRC and if a bloke stands out we say 'awesome, hope you hang around and your form is this good next year, we'll sign you for sure then.'

I don't think the Reds have ever neglected signings from the NRC. They've been one of the big players in it.

Is Isi Australian eligible? Would impact what type of contract he could get

That's what was reported in the news a few days ago, there are a few contracts still out there available for NRC stars

So the talk is Mick Heenan is taking over the reins for this season. Has this been confirmed anywhere? It's interesting as he's never done a lot of stuff outside of UQ Prems. I guess as the coach of the dominant team for a while it's great he's stepping up.

yeah, apparently he put his hat in the ring for the Force job last year and apparently there has been some Super Rugby interest SOMEWHERE for next year.

Nothing confirmed for NRC, but I look forward to seeing how he goes.

Heard the same thing Reg. Maybe he thought NRC experience would help in a Super role.

I wonder what has changed because I swear he's been offered NRC roles before but turned them down. Apparently was happy with his job and just coaching UQ. Who knows

Salesi Manu. 4 years ago I thought that bloke was going to be a Wallaby. I have only seen Bond play once this season and he wasnt there. How has he been going?

agreed. I'm not sure if I've seen his name either.

There's a very strong WA touch to these sides.

hopefully! Tahs said they will need a prop, but that will probably happen through a team folding, so hopefully we can find space. He would be better hten Vanzati imo for example.

Manu is more a THP though right?

Vanzati (who I think has plenty of potential) is LHP.

I thought I recalled him playing in #1 for Force. Perhaps it's both. Perhaps I'm just wrong. I just liked the cut of his jib and remember being disappointed when he left because he was scummaging properly and was a weapon ball in hand

5. Tui
6. Korczyk
7. De Guingand
