I know it’s been discussed to death this season but I was absolutely sure before this year that you could tackle the ball carrier in a maul if you could get to him. Pisses me off to no extent that you can’t. If that’s the rule, that’s fine, but I philosophically don’t agree with it.

Something's changed. It's not refereed like this anywhere else. The players don't even seem to be aware.
