Blues vs Force Rd 12. Fri May 2, 2025

Dear Western Force.

Please put this moribund deadshit clowncar of a Blues franchise out of its misery this weekend.

I would like to get on with my life and not have my weekends ruined by the constant binary-brained letdowns perpetrated by the 23 individuals in Blues jerseys who barely share a braincell between the lot of them.

Fond Regards,

ps after the match please take Ranga Christie back to Perth with you and throw the hopeless little shit down the nearest mine.

From what I recall seeing about the Blues injuries, Clarke should be back but probably not Papali'i. Though Dalton on one foot would have more positive impact that Segner. If that's not an option then just go full France and play three big lumps in the loose forwards. i.e., 6. Cam Christie, 7. Cam Suafoa, 8. Hoskins Sotutu. No idea on Renata which means the reserve props will continue to be cooked.

Otherwise, it's just sensible selection decisions such as removing the handbrakes at 9 and 13.

Tele'a being unavailable and Cole Forbes being a non-event this season even gives a perfect reason for shifting Ioane the Lesser out to the wing.

Related, I saw Forbes at Royal Oak Pak'nSave a few hrs ago looking like the quintessential Te Papa side of Onehunga denizen. Should've biffed my bag of soft plastics at him.

how's the Roundabout these days? High speed games of chance and death that thing. There always seemed to be some little old asian lady in a Honda Civic who made it halfway through then lost her nerve and started giving way to everyone and got stuck.

Gotta stick it in 3rd and hoon through the thing like you know all the right-of-way rules. Respect Through Fear.

Blues are back to the 6-2 split. Papali'i has returned but not Clarke. HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED-AT-HALFBACK-HAS-BEEN-BANISHED-TO-THE-PENROSE-INDUSTRIAL-WASTELAND. Suafoa seems to have gone with him, unfortunately. Renata back to shore up the TH props.
