Surprised Amatosero gets another start, the pigs functioned so much better when Grant got on the field
Maybe Amatosero is on his last chance for a contract next year. I hope so. His time in France didn't seem to teach him much, maybe he needs to repeat a couple of year to graduate!

Quick sampling of the betting sites shows Loss Bleus at $1.20 or less & 'tahs $7 or above, a fair bit more lop-sided than I'd have thought.
Tahs have been shit away all season, and the Blues backline is laden with threat

Yes the Tahs have plenty to prove away from home but $7 is pretty good odds in a 2 horse race. Could I borrow a tenner? :p
Betting agencies aren’t in the business of losing money… The Tahs are a million to one to beat the Blues at Eden Park!

Wow, having a good look at Riley so far. 12 minutes in and he's missed tackles, attempted three or more intercepts and left his opposite unmarked which directly led to Talea's try. Needs to get some more starch and actually have a go in defence.

To be fair, if that first intercept sticks it's a seven-pointer.

Then he jams in on & gets skinned by Beaugan resulting in a try. So, yeah, what you said.

True, but to my eye WOB he is missing some heart by overwhelmingly going for an intercept rather than holding his positionin the defensive line and actually making some tackles. His inept tackle attempt and miss led straight away the Telea's second try. Personally, I wouldn't have him anywhere near a Super side while he looks so chicken-hearted.

Youd pretty much only take Bell, Gleeson or Kellaway for a Super Rugby side.

His defense is not his strong point but I think somewhat understandably he, and the team in general, have a brief to take a few risks and play for a bit of luck as it’s the only thing that’s going to win them the game and get them into the finals. Likely to end in tears but at 17-6 they were still in it.
