MCG is far better, they have over developed around marvel it creates bottle necks trying to get from the ground to the station when it’s half full. When it is anywhere near capacity it’s an absolute nightmareNot a fan of oval stadiums either but apart from that it's pretty well located. Easy to get to and disappear to a million and one pubs or bars afterwards.
The only good venue for rectangular sports in Melbourne is AAMI Park. Too small for events like this. In my mind would be perfect for a RC test against Argentina.Don’t like marvel as the venue, it’s a terrible ground a lot of Melburnian’s hate it. While the ground owner/operator always gets a cut it’s an AFL owned venue so they will take a decent slice of the pie
I've have been just one time in Melbourne. Is near of the bus station. Isn't it?Not a fan of oval stadiums either but apart from that it's pretty well located. Easy to get to and disappear to a million and one pubs or bars afterwards.
Well there may not be a game in Melbourne. Only one of the top 3 sides are Victorian.I have a question, will it being a minor final for AFL on weekend, will there be plenty of accomadtion in Melbourne?
I think it good sense to have game on Thursday of that week to avoid straight ot competition and some can maybe take in both games.
Depends a lot on the teams playing and whether the game is on Friday night or not.I have a question, will it being a minor final for AFL on weekend, will there be plenty of accomadtion in Melbourne?

They games will be Friday night and Saturday night to ensure there is a 7 day break for the teams in the GF. No chance of a Sunday break.Depends a lot on the teams playing and whether the game is on Friday night or not.
If it's a big interstate club and the game is on Friday night, then there's potentially going to be some squeeze on accommodation.
If it's two Victorian teams and/or the game is Saturday/Sunday then I'd say you'd be fine with accommodation. Public transport means you can easily stay outside the CBD and have some fun away from the hordes after the game.
Because so many would turn up in Sydney to watch us get belted.
