Bledisloe # 3 - Saturday 31st October, ANZ Stadium

Man I loved Caucau - still can't believe he really only played for 6 or so years

Mate 100% agree. I had the pleasure of seeing him live when he was at the Blues as well as at the 2003 RWC in which he ripped up.

I would take him in his prime over any other strike winger. He was absolutely phenomenal. His combination of acceleration, top end speed, balance, ability to step off both feet and generally exceptional skills/hands were unique in that I cannot ever recall seeing anyone quite at the same level.

One of those player you just could not help but smile when you watched.... even if he was playing against your lifelong team. Just his mechanics when he ran were mesmerising.

---Admins sorry but couldn't help myself.

I expect the forward pack stays the same. I believe Simone and DHP come in the backline. JP at 13.

Pretty much thinking the same. I wonder if they will rotate the front row to finish with a more dynamic pack. That's probably it for the piggies. Plus Lolesio on the bench with Hodge. Probably Samu as backrow reserve.

I demand the banhammer for this shameless fawning over a member of the darkness

he barely played for the blues in 2003, was a bench player..only started in the last 2 games cause caucau got injured

That's not true Rokocoko started multiple games on the right wing for the Blues in 2003 when Caucau was on the left.

Alan is apparently starting over Tupou

Saving our stupid kicks for the end of the game? ;)

Seriously tho this is the best option - AAA can lay down a marker on the scrum against Moody, then later in the game Tupou's running impact will probably be needed on a damp track against a more tired opposition

Word is Moody isn't playing (concussion) and Big Karl will start for ABs with Hodgman off the bench.
