Bledisloe 2 at Eden Park 18/10/20

Mo'unga has been mismanaged at test level, as with All Black's dual-pivot system under Hansen & Foster, Barrett spends too much time at first receiver instead of playing the natural fullback role, crowding Mo'unga's space and inhibiting him from playing his natural game. It's no coincidence Mo'unga is clearly the best first-five in the world under the superior coaching of Scott Robertson.

Why stop there?

Is he not the greatest flyhalf........... of all time? (Mark Cousins’ inflection)

Halves always perform better behind a dominant pack, such as the Crusaders.
In the Wellington test, Mo'unga did not enjoy the time or space he has been used to, & he got hit big time on a number of occasions (whether late or not), hence poor decisions start to creep into his game.

Except for when he came up against a test defence in the British and Irish Lions 2017 and was mud.

There was no Beauden to get in his way on Saturday and there was no Beauden to get in his way in North/South where he also had a poor game.

I know I'm a Rebels supporter and thus biased but Uelese, barring Latu's return, is our way forward. FF (Folau Fainga'a) has benefited from playing in a Brumbies front row surrounded by hundreds of Wallaby caps. Uelese held his own and then some with Orr and Ainsley. Uelese is better around the park and ran a better lineout in 2020. I don't know what's with his fitness that people referred to last game, maybe he was winded or something because he was getting around fine for 70 minutes for the Rebels.
I commented on it because I noticed him on his haunches several times in the last few minutes and at least twice that was when we were under the pump.

But part of my comment was to question whether it was fitness or if he was injured. It may well have been the later.

I see all the Aussie posters liking this in pure desperation Robertson never get's the All Blacks gig, as they know he'll bring the steel back into the NZ pack. Fear is a wonderful thing. Keep talking up your performance against a soft, disorganised Foster coached All Blacks playing in the torrential wind and rain. For some perspective, the All Blacks have only won 1 of their last 6 games in Wellington. That alone should indicate the improvement you can expect from the All Blacks at Eden Park this Sunday.

Definitely not their favourite ground, but I make it:
2 Draws - (AUS, SAF)
2 Losses - (SAF, BIL)
2 Wins - (FRA, AUS)

and after that, all wins back to 2003

If Robertson got the coaching gig, I don't think the All Blacks would lose a match for his entire reign.

Geez you dropped the veneer of “Kiwi immigrant concerned about Australian Rugby” fast.

 Geez man give it a rest, the Wallabies played bloody well deserved the draw, probably unlucky not to win, what the hell difference does the weather and ground make, game I watched both teams were on same park, in same weather!

This might be a stupid question, but why not play BB at 10? JB is perennially underrated and would be more than capable playing 15...from memory BB is half decent at 10.

Samu is really the invisible worker. I swear I never see much from him (maybe I’m just biased) but his stats are good.
6 carries, 6/6 tackles, 4 of them dominant and 3 turnovers.

I think Samu is bloody good, similar in a way to Sam Cane who doesn't get credit at times because they do real work, Samu has great workrate if you watch him properly.
