Bledisloe 2 at Eden Park 18/10/20

Wilson

Phil Kearns (64)
Great first half and a second to forget. Will be a few changes in two weeks time, for me they'd be:

Simone in for To'omua if he's out
Wright drops back out, probably for Samu
Petaia to start over Paisami
And possibly Wright in for Koroibete, DHP in for Banks, and Hosea in for Simmons. That may be a couple to many changes though

I might also look at swapping Tupou and Ala'alatoa to give us more punch at the back end of the game when Wilson has come off.

Good game All Blacks. Pretty much better in every way than us today.

Not great from the Wallabies but I'm fairly sure that's a smaller margin than the average lol. Did some impressive stuff at probably the most hostile place in the world, Eden Park with not one fan in the full 50,000 crowd.

Keen for Sydney.

Bit too knee jerk for me there. That would be half a new backline. Have a bit of faith in Rennie I think, he needs time to work miracles. Hopefully To'omua recovers in the next 2 weeks. Same backline but with Petaia and DHP in, Lolesio to come on with 30 to go.

Start Lolesio as well?

Agreed it's not the same old, we're very different. Our strengths (and weaknesses) are different now. But at the end of the day does it matter if we get spanked? I guess we hope that this is but the first step of a big improvement curve.
We are improved..ABs deserved winners but was closer then scoreline reflected. Rome not built in a day - some things to like - some things to improve - but wallabies to me exceeded expectations b4 the first game. We are not easy beats. Oh and FU NZRU...

Wright was a bit of a disappointment for me. Besides that one much needed t/o, I thought he went into contact a little high, looked a little light often going backwards and that strip from TJ really wasn't good. I agree, I'd go Samu.

Has much as Simmons gets knocked, we secured clean l/o ball after he was on.

Hyperbole aside, I expected them to lose but was really hoping for some of the smart play from last week: sniping at the base of the ruck, decent out of hand kicking, solid work in the collision.

Not much of that on show, so i think that all in all its pretty disappointing.
