Good half of rugger buggers from the Wallabies. Maul defence seemed to be the only thing really working properly for the ABs.

Will be good to see how they go overturning a proper halftime deficit, albeit with this motely crew. Surely going to see some very early movement from the bench. Mo'unga, especially.

That would have to be one of the most complete halves for a Wallabies side in recent times.

Team looks balanced, threatening in attack, and solid in defence.
Still with a lot of improvement to be had too.

Koro didn't need to knock on that kick, there was no pressure there. The lineout should have gotten set earlier to reward that excellent heads up play from Gordon. Tate needed to angle in lower rather than allowing himself to be turtled to convert that opportunity and pressure we had. I would have liked to see us confident to kick penalties 45m out to keep the pressure on.

A more cohesive AB team would be exploiting the moments that are letting them back in, luckily this AB's team is making some uncharacteristic errors, but you can see how quickly they can switch on. The AB's set piece in particular isn't looking crash hot today.

Still a lot that can happen in 40mins, but there was a lot to like from the Wallabies in that half for rugby.

I'm chuffed with the front row so far, also I like Petaia at 13. it will be interesting to see the impact off the bench.

Not a great start. Back to back penalties letting them march down.

... and the inevitable happens.
