Carter starting at 10, don't hate it at all.

After his performance against Argentina I wondered if Eddie might pull the trigger on that selection, but thought it might have waited until the following game...

Ultimately though, he could be on a hiding like Lolesio in 2020 if the forwards don't front up.

But I like the look of the speculative pack.

I like that forward pack but would prefer Frost to start in place of Arnold. Frost/Skelton could be our best combo for the RWC and beyond.

Tom Hooper at 7 has surprised me as I thought it would be either Gleeson or Leota.

I wish Eddie had had the courage/foresight or whatever to start Gordon against either or both of SA and Argentina. Starting against the ABs in full flight is shades of Matt To'omua years ago and perhaps Noah Lolesio more recently. Caused their careers to stall for quite some time. I am more hopeful of Carter handling the job, but it's more like throwing a player to the wolves than just into the deep end.

If we stay competitive for 60 minutes or more, I will be pleasantly surprised.

Tate & Carter is a bold choice. Think our tactical kicking will suffer a lot with both of them. Crazy to try this when we have three tests left before the RWC. Would've preferred White & Cooper to keep building combinations.

I don't think Christy has any mail on T. Hooper at 7, just that he could be an option. Would be surprised if he went to Tom again.

Based off social media stuff I doubt Philip will be in the 23 which is disappointing but guarantees a combination of Frost, Skeleton & Arnold.
