Mudskipper, to say that Speight has had an equal positive impact on the Brumbies as Delve has had on the Rebels and Braid did on the Reds is fucking ludicrous.

He had one stand out season which he built up towards each year, like a good developing player should. When he arrived he was another average winger.

He's become a great player for the Brumbies, but to even compare his impact to the immediate positive impact on young squads Delve and Braid had is completely laughable.

His attitude and dedication at training was his biggest contribution to the franchise.
He significantly changed the culture up there, I have been told by many.

Following his second seasons there were some calls from New Zealand to call him into the All Blacks, he was in fantastic form at the time.

The Reds were almost as good for Braid as he was for the Reds.

He never really dominated in NZ for the Blues. Luke is looking pretty bloody good though.......I hope he has another cracker season and gives guys like Cane and Todd a real run for than 2nd spot behind McCaw.
