Read this morning that Ben Alexander had a check up yday and its shown that he will be out for the entire tri-nations. He had an operation on his knee in Canberra yday. Really going to test our Front row stocks now.

A resounding f**k echoes throughout the forum...

This wouldn't have been a big a problem had Deans called up Al Baxter to the squad. It would still be a problem however. Depth is pointless if you keep blooding new guys and neglect the experience you have already built.

Year after year Deans neglects the tight head position - and while we have tight heads in the squad they are just not up to test match standard against the likes of NZ and RSA just yet.

Year after year Reddy? Just how many years has Deans been the coach?

This is his 3rd year, he has selected roughly 7 Wallaby squads in that time, with the 8th squad selected just before the Tri-Nations.

Thats terrible. The injury looked bad when it happened and I was suprised by the initial optimistic diagnosis. Only positive is that BA will be fresh and fit for the EOYT and 2011. Time to call Big All Baxter back into the squad to shore up front row experience.

My son plays THP for his U/12 team. I told him today to pack an overnight bag and start warming up.....

It just keeps getting worse, have a look at the forward pack vs Wales on the EOYT (and arguably the first string for this year):

1. Robinson - Out
2 Moore - Out
3. Alexander - Out
4. Horwill - Out
5. Mumm
6. Elsom
7. Pocock
8 Palu - Out

Add in the fact the reserve hooker is injured and is it really quite depressing.
