BaaBaas comeback for Burger
The Barbarians have confirmed that Schalk Burger will join Springbok captain Jean de Villiers in the team to take on Fiji at Twickenham in November.

The World Cup-winning Springbok flank has been sidelined through injury and illness since the start of last year, but it appears he is set to make his return to the international stage in what will be his fourth appearance for the Barbarians.

Burger was hospitalised earlier this year when he contracted bacterial meningitis following surgery to drain a cyst near his spinal chord, and has been slowly working his way back to full fitness.

He will be joined by Bok skipper De Villiers in a team that will be coached by All Blacks boss Steve Hansen.

The world's most famous club confirmed the news in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

"*Breaking News - #baabaas head coach v @fijirugby is 2011 World Cup winning & Allblacks legend, STEVE HANSEN #rugby #rugbyunited.

"1st #baabaas player-he likes his steak rare & rugby ferocious @bokrugby bruiser & breakdown assassin SCHALK BURGER #rugby #rugbyunited.

"2nd #baabaas player- an inspirational captain & midfield whirlwind. @bokrugby dynamo JEAN DE VILLIERS #rugby #rugbyunited.

"We'll name the rest of #baabaas squad as we can. For now, welcome aboard Steve Hansen, Schalk Burger & Jean De Villiers #rugby #rugbyunited," the tweets read.

Stormers stalwarts Burger and De Villiers last played together for the Barbarians against Australia in 2008, whilst Hansen was assistant coach to Graham Henry in the Barbarians match against Australia at the end of 2011.

Hi
Someone perhaps with a team sheet for Fiji'?

This caught my attention

"The nightmare is making sure that we have replacement players for the match against the Barbarians.
"We hope to rope in Netani Talei, Nikola Matawalu, Leone Nakarawa and Henry Speight to fill the gap and have our fingers crossed."

Our Speight part of the team? Yeah I know this doesnt count as an International cap.

There's probably zero to no chance of Speight turning out. He's spent the past three year's qualifying for the Wallabies. I know it's not counted as a international cap but it wouldn't send the right messages.

Reminds me of last years spring tour, having 2 rugby games on the same time. We later tuned to the all blacks game I think, too boring watching the wallabies play :(

Being called "boring" by a South African reminds me that your first language is probably not English.
