Should be interesting this week who will command the 9 and 10 jumpers with Genia and Quade on the bye. Ditto with outside centre re: Digby

I didn't watch much of the Brumbies match so can't really comment there. But from the Force/Tahs game tonight these guys are stood out.

1.
2. TPN
3. Kepu/ Ma'afu
4. Mumm
5.
6. Elsom
7. Hodgson
8. Hoiles/Mowen

9. Burgess
10. Halangahu/Giteau
11. Mitchell
12. O'Connor/Lealifano
13.
14.
15.

Outside centre is really looking like a concern, all the starters were average and Horne is only getting limited game time.

All three starting halfbacks were nothing to write home about this week.

In fact, most of the team might be filled with the person who least sucked in that position.

Don't think Australian teams are looking overly rosy at the moment in the S14.

Brumbies and Tahs struggling. Force sucking. Reds playing well but half of that may be because people are comparing them to how much they sucked the last few years.

...the Tahs won, but Australian rugby lost

Because we have a team in the top four now?

No - because the Australian teams - in particular the Tahs - served up a huge steaming pile of dog shit that nobody should be forced to watch.

But somehow I think you knew that.. :)

Topo mentioned Hoiles, I cringed but then thought "wow he probably was".

Big drop off after Palu in our number 8 stocks. Time to step up Houston.

Not a great week for Oz S14 rugby was it? Reds fans will have a quit chuckle at the difficulty in choosing an Oz team without them and so would I have, in their shoes.

I also looked at that RH list and had the same reaction as Sully. It was good to see Hodgson get his first nomination of the year and if he keeps playing like that it won't be his last.

Horne got his mention by default. At least he tried a few things.

Apart from Hodgson, the Oz player of the round, I thought the only outstanding player was TPN, but his lineout throwing wasn't the best.
