OK now that I have said my piece I'll refrain from stating any personal opinion in the future and will tow the general theme of each thread from now on just to keep everyone happy.

say what ever you like Matty. Everyone else does. there are only about 3 positions I would change in you list. And you're right that is just my opinion.

I think was has impressed people about the Reds this year is their improvement, and in general their exciting style of play, and while I'm not taking anything away from the Tahs (I haven't yet watched that match, waiting for the reply) I think because of the Reds resurgence and their style of play they are winning over more fans. Also you fail to notice that although the lions are above the Force on the table, the Force have less point scored against them then the Lions who have atrocious defence (once again not taking anything away from the Tahs result).

I thought Hynes played pretty well at fullback but perhaps AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was more important to the Brumbies in their game than Hynes was for the Reds.


Barnes, while obviously playing and controlling the Waratahs well, did not have the massive impact as A. Fainga'a did. I guess it depends on who you support haha. As a Reds supporter I'm feeling pretty one eyed at the moment.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was very good, safe under the high ball and wonderful at kick return.

Barnes played bloody well and didn't spend 10 minutes in the bin

Touche, but he did spend 20minutes on the bench at the end of the game, pulled for having a shocker obviously

Tahs beat Reds therefore Tahs are better than Reds, when i posted that the tahs beat a side the brumbies struggled to by plenty, people said it was cos it was the second week of there road trip blah blah etc etc, so one set of rules, head to head. Tahs are better

So, you finally reversed the (very valid) criticism of Qlander attitudes by Tah supporters for many, many years. Took a while :lmao: :lmao:

Show me one (i.e. one) Tah fan who ever claimed success for a season on the sole criterion of beating Queensland. Even if you find one, you will have an impossibly long way to travel to reach "typical".

I have met very few Tah supporters who viewed Qland's rugby team as any more than just another team in the year's program. Tah supporters know and understand that four points for beating Qland is no more and no less than the four points for beating any other team.
