I was there for the announcement of the team. I can't remember the names of everyone, but there are a few people I remember got in. In Australian schoolboys: Dempsey, Whiteley, and Rorke made it from View. Kellaway, Stewart and Horwitz made it from Scots. No Newington boys made the top squad. Shore managed to get 1 in from Combined States. No Joeys boys in top squad. The big controversy/shock of the day, was the lack of Queenslanders in the side, and the inclusion of many NSW 2nds players. Kings got several players in the top squad which was quite surprising considering they were all in NSW 2's. I'm sure they're great players though, Jake McIntyre (Fullback from North NSW) also made the squad, as did Tom Wilson from Barker. Don't know the names of any QLD players that made it, but there were a few, not as many as expected. Victoria and ACT also had a few players in the side, more than expected.
I don't remember too many from Australia A, but I can remember Harry Randal from Kings, Jack Johnson from Waverly, Oscar Prior-Lees from Newington, Tanne Milne from Newington, a few Joeys boys, a few Kings boys, abd a few more Victoria/ACT boys.
In terms of the games I saw: The Tongan Schoolboys smacked our President's XV (a team made up from all out div 2. teams), and NSW won the championship for the first time since 2005 (can't say the same for Origin). QLD started well, but NSW ended up dominating the game. And yes, Tepai passed it, putting Jim Stewart in for a great try. Kellaway scored twice, Dempsey dominated the game and Tom Wilson kicked very well.
