The ARU and its employees come in for a bit of criticism from time to time.
In the spirit of similar threads already started and to channel Waratah Jesus:
Just to balance out the multiple discussions on what's wrong with ARU, John O'Neill, The ARU Board, and Key Employees, such as David Nucifora and the High Performance Unit Staff, The Media Unit and the Trophy Cabinet cleaner, and receptionist at St Leonards, I thought it time for people to give some credit to things that go right.
Rules:
1) post nothing negative
2) post something positive
3) Post nothing sarcasticly positive
Good Examples
The Women's Rugby 7's "Talent Quest" recruitment campaign for Rio is inspired marketing and should result in opening up the game to a big talent pool.
The financial support given to the Australian Schoolboys Tournament is money well spent and a good investment in the future of the game.
Try not to post sarcasticly, such as this example (tempting though they may be):
The Shiraz at the ARU Board Meeting was served at exactly the right temperature for a 20 year old classic red wine, and it complemented the Thai Style Roast Beef Salad perfectly.
Avoid these sort of posts (plenty of threads to express this sentiment already):
David Nucifora has no idea what he is doing and everything he touches turns to sh*t - The Faecal Touch.
John O'Neill's only interest in Rugby is how much the Rugby Union will pay him in this years annual bonus.
Discuss.
