FIFYAustralia is a net receiver of migrants from its surrounding areas. Checks out that we have 30% foreign born that match Australia's 30% foreign population.
No one fkn moves to Ireland or Britain willingly unless there's some serious skullduggery going on.

Must be nice.To be fair, if I were to live in another country other than Australia. It would probably be Ireland. That might have something to do with my dual citizenship and regular visits.
Tax rates are supposed to go alright, right? To be fair, if I were to live in another country other than Australia. It would probably be Ireland. That might have something to do with my dual citizenship and regular visits.
For this concept of a third-tier you guys are proposing, is the purpose just for development of players? Or is it to drive fan interest? because if we have stale "Waratahs A" sides no one going to be watching that. No one barely even watches the 1st team.
If run with premier grade clubs (yes i know it is a large logistical & financial challenge), I would bet money on it driving more fan interest and engagement.
True, rugby’s got an uphill battle against the NRL’s resources and reach. Maybe it’s time for a new approach, as the Wallaby-centric focus hasn’t yielded the best results.Except your getting into a gunfight with an opposition code that has a lot more money, smarter business operators and far more professional positions to offer.
The whole Cleary thinking is Wallaby centric off we go again to conquer the world, the NRL has 18 soon to be 20 so called Wallaby teams, you don't think they'll fight back. ffs it's 2024 how has that strategy worked out for rugby in this country.

Lost touch with the common man.Must be nice.
I have just been in England for 3 weeks and would not recommend it as an alternative to OZ. DIrty, over populated and almost impossible to drive in the towns. Oh! should have mentioned it's bloody expensive.Plenty of ex-pat Aussies (and Kiwis and Saffers) in Ireland, Wales, England. Don't know about Scotland.

P.S. The quaint bits are still quaint.
I took Google's advice to get out of Wales to go to Chester, I ended up on roads where the growth was touching both sides of a small rental car. Had to back up 150m to let a land rover pass me. Lovely views and wildlife but the thought of losing my $3000 deposit had me concerned.Wouldn't move to England. Certainly not any of the major centres at least. And even then. Driving on some of those country roads can be perilous at times. Was in Wiltshire and Somerset in September and while it was lovely it is also very lacking.
Sheesh you lads have it hard with your regular European vacations.I took Google's advice to get out of Wales to go to Chester, I ended up on roads where the growth was touching both sides of a small rental car. All of my old rugby mates have moved out of town to live in the country. I was there until mid-September. Dru and a couple of others kindly posted updates on the NZ game as I couldn't watch it.

Ist time in 28 years and I won't be going back. I called it the Farewell Tour.Sheesh you lads have it hard with your regular European vacations.
Well I leave for my farewell tour to UK on Monday, basically because I getting too old at 70 to sit on Plane for 29-30 hours. Said to Mrs after this one we may just annoy the rest of NZ and the Aussies for holidays!Ist time in 28 years and I won't be going back. I called it the Farewell Tour.
Great time in Japan and recommend to visit there if you haven't.
Couldn't agree more, thanks for the tips, will steer clear of England, and prioritise Ireland. You've got to have your priorities.
Couldn't get much better than New Zealand and Australia anyway. Agree with this Dru but I was on the other end. An old Aussie mate of mine went to live there as a teenager to paint with Brett Whitely, Whitely became famous and my mate ended up in Marketing and loved the UK as did his NZ wife. He came back due to illness in the family and then went back to live in a village and has been there for nearly 30 years.I lived there 1997 to 2007, SMI. Absolutely loved it. I would propbably have stayed, but my wife decided we couldn't afford to retire in England. I worked in London which I loved, but lived well outside, in a "quaint" village closer to Oxford. I have the deepest respect for England. Any young adult looking for international career exposure should consider England imo.
