Someone also needs to tell Digby that he doesn't have magical boots that allow him to evade defenders with every run......

If you retrieve the ball inside your 22m, and there's a guy open to pass to for a kick, and you have defenders charging down on you......... DON'T TRY AND TAKE THEM ON!!!

Agree. He's been doing it for years and its a huge liability in his game.

On the bright side, thought how forwards competed really, really well. Got over the advantage line very easily at times. Was good stuff.

Our reserve scrum was also very, very strong and nearly won us the game.

Oz had a 6% advantage at getting over the gain line (77%).

Agree about the scrum. Alexander scrummaging at tighthead is shit but who didn't know this?

I've noticed him do it a LOT this year, and it occasionally pays off when you can wrong foot a tight forward, but when there's a player in a good kicking position and you've got a swarm of defenders and no one there to back you up....... pass the god damn mother fu*&(&*&(*&(*&(* ball!

The earlier missed kick is where Beale would be disappointed. That was a lot easier i thought.

Don't despair Wallaby fans. It's a 3 test series. OZ were right there.

12 years ago and plenty were writing them off after Test 1.

Would love to see JOC (James O'Connor) at fullback and Gilbert at 10.

It definitely will be a close series. One thing that might be different from last time is that the Lions know they have a hell of a lot to work on for the 2nd test.

If JOC (James O'Connor) was a real mate of Beale's he would have stepped up and took that last kick for him. I hope that doesn't nudge him off the wagon.

He did. But we'll done to KB (Kurtley Beale) for wanting to be the guy to take on the pressure.

By the way who is this joker on channel 10 with Eales and Burke? "Should the Lions be scared" hahaha

lol, desperate much? Was deans telepathically telling him to kick with his left foot or something? Jesus.

Huh? Was a reaction to the risk of putting a guy just out of rehab in a very high pressure situation. How do you think Beale will be feeling right now?

Did you actually have a point there?

The question is...... does Lilo play next week?

I'm sure we'll be better off not losing 4 backs in one game.........
