Gotta say, I said this before he kicked it, what an absolute terrible patch of turf Suncorp stadium has. The whole reason that scrum got pushed back was the Lions scrum slipping out, just look at the turf churned up.

KB (Kurtley Beale) slips up. Lets hope he doesn't 'slip up' tonight.....

Great game to watch. Well done both sides. Very intense.

Folau barely touched the ball in the 2nd half. Shame really

Yep, me too.

Beale looks devo'ed. I rated us a real chance in this series but looking at the injury toll from this game - dunno anymore. I think the injuries to our back line may open up a return from Quade? Interesting times ahead. At the moment just disappointed with the result though.

Dam I was all ready to praise Beale for standing up under pressure. Unlucky with the pitch which didn't help.

Yep.....pretty much across the board crap for all Australian pitches. The only one worse if the SFS. The only thing that place is missing is a few cow pads. Total tip of a field.

On the bright side, thought how forwards competed really, really well. Got over the advantage line very easily at times. Was good stuff.

Our reserve scrum was also very, very strong and nearly won us the game.
