great game! Wallabies were poor for most of the first half but the substitutes in the final 15 minutes made a big difference. I thought Link got the selections in the backs just right. The pack still needs tinkering. Carter/Simo/Palu were sloppy again. Higgers and Horwill are banging on the door. The front row needs work, but the return of TPN/Sio/Moore should help us get a bit more impact off from the tight five.

He ran just as sideways as he did in the other two games, the difference being against tired opposition as a fresh player, its easier to look good and have half a second to execute more than you do at 10.

I think a far bigger factor was the presence of Higgers and Hodgson. Things got real quick from that point, and allowed Beale to inject himself, because our ruck started to get clean.

Agreed, I thought Horwill was good too. Higgers was great, really pushing for a start over Palu.

Beale was good off the bench. I like the combo of starting with To'omua at 12 and bring Beale on late in the game

really well IMO. His passing in front of the man was a notable difference to White. Works his ass off too.

I've been a Quade hater in the past but he was very good for the Wallabies last year, and so far Beale and Foley aren't stepping up at flyhalf.....

Beale is however very good off the bench.

Just don't agree about the Foley comment... but hey your entitled to a opinion.
