On an even more serious note who has failed that the Bulls have recruited? Serious question. I haven't followed the recruitment much of late.

Or who did they recruit that they should be using and aren't?

Try be more specific than the standard lazy Stomp reply through a cloud of mountain goat weed. :)

I know Oom has been pissed off about some young'uns the Bulls stole from the mountain but have there been many of late?
Can't comment much on current signings, but Sadie failed. It could be said he also failed at WP and hasn't been setting the world alight at the Cheetahs but at least he claims to be happier there.

The Bulls need to sort out their breakdown and they'll be a force again. The playing personnel are good enough I think.

Wow. Fuck. I didn't think it could actually get worse than the first two Bledisloe games, but it just did.

Clancy of the Underwhelm? Give me strength!

I think we have 2 of the least competent officials in international rugby tonight (Clancy and Jackson). The fact that we're playing the Boks means that we couldn't get the big 3 as Peyper is ineligible.

I can't stand this crap about neutral referees. I trust their professional ethic regardless of where they came from. I would love to see Joubert ref this one despite him being a Saffer.

Just watched this for the first time to remind me of a different age.
Dear Wallabies - please inspire us and let's dare to dream of another golden age to start again today.
Go Straya.

The era I fell head over heals in love with rugby as a kid. Sometimes I forget how good the Wallabies were back then. The support lines, creativity and skills are as good as the current crop of ABs. No wonder we expect soo much from our current crop of players... tough to top!

Shame Tuney had such a bad run with his knees, such an incredible player... still my favourite winger.

C'arn Straya!!

Tim Horan. This is all.

it was a great era for the Wallabies, add the next 5 years in there too though..those 97/98 jerseys were shockers, and that's not even in hindsight, I remember thinking that at the time!

That try by Burkey in 96 would have to go down as one of the best individual tries in history. Burned the entire AB back row, as well as making Cullen look like a knob and Lomu look slow. Wilson was still fucking quick though.

We looked like clowns. We had to back up our stupid look with some tough footy or else be lost as a force in rugger forever.

The 99 RWC was very probably forged in the crucible of embarrassment that was that jersey.

no the 1999 jersey was the next worst one, but there was daylight between the 97/98 version and it..
