Alrighty, 5 nights to go.

You don't dispatch the soap dodgers with a man down for 50 minutes and go doing unforced changes. Hopefully the English freak out and do wholesale changes.

Is Cooper ok for this one? Even if he is I think there's a pretty good chance Lolesio starts again.

Wouldn't be amazed to see Sio and Bell swap, Bell had a bit of a hard time in some of the early scrums. Also wouldn't write off Paisami as coming onto the bench, he was the extra back warming up with the side on Saturday. That is less wing cover though, but I'm not sure they'll really want to use Perese on the wing against England either, so it might be a choice between Wright and Vunivalu for 23.

Qwerty posted in the Wallabies squad that Beale is with the team and doing promotional work for the indigenous jersey.

Might not make the 23 but probably training with the squad now after Banks. Fills that 10/15 role nicely.

Beale is not the answer for the fullback spot. Develop any player there. The spot SHOULD be for Kellaway, Petaia, Campbell or Wright. This is the time to build a solid squad for next WC
Not starting fullback but he does make a perfect supersub. He (& Hodge) allow you to run a 6/2 bench split if needed.

I still prefer Vunivalu or Perese because I want to trial them before the RWC. But Beale for 20 minutes at the end is tempting.

I thought he was injured, but if he's fit he makes sense as the squad cover

I prefer him with Australia A and bring back Hodge.

Very excited for our Top Class 2nd Rower Production Line to pump out another one after Neville in Frost this weekend. Frost with 20 minutes to go will be pretty dynamite.

Soon enough no other country will have developed locks because every lock in their domestic teams will be an Aussie.

I think this is pretty close to what we will see, although being at suncorp id definitely select tate on the bench. For the same reason i wouldnt be opposed to seeing wilson get a shot at 6. Nothing wrong with leota's performance per say, he was solid if unspectacular - honestly we probably played our best footy when he was off the field. But expect rennie will go with consistency

I'd hope that selections would ignore crowd favourites myself. I do hope that both Tate and Wilson are there on merit though.

Not about fans favourites, more horses for courses. I think players tend to perform their best in a familiar setting. Reds players are going to be particularly comfortable there.

His coming back from injury not a chance to play

Hodge nowhere near the 23 please. We have much better players available to fill 22/23.

I am genuinely shocked that muppet Hill hasn't been cited. How a 2 hand aggressive/violent push to the head of a player who doesn't even have the ball isn't a red card is beyond me. No different to a punch in my opinion. The intent was there.

Leota who had to cover at lock for 20 minutes and put in a strong game in both attack and defence?

I think Wilson is going to have to wait at least another week…

Yeah covering lock when you're down your lineout caller for most of the game is impressive.

I'm just re-watching the game and he was pretty industrious. Reliable, not going to set the world on fire like Harry but solid. Nice tackle on Genge to jolt the ball free. Good two phase movement on halftime where he set Porecki off down the tram racks then immediately made a good run himself, to get what looked like a head knock. Surprised we didn't hear more about it. Maybe Wilson will play if Leota doesn't pull up right.

Also like, Vunipola kneed him right in the head as he ran past, could've avoided it.
