I dont understand how people here can seriously think that with only one change to our forward pack, a step up as we were to believe, that we would get our asses handed to us in scrums!

This Ref had it in his mind, that the Lions would be dominate at scrum time, and thus any time Australia had advantage, they were cheating. It has been noted that this Ref will make a decision and run with it the whole night.

How Steve Walsh was not reffing this game is beyond me, he is the best ref in the game and a kiwi by birth. He shows no bias and can handle big games.

I was disappointed not to see Steve Walsh ref a game also.

Full credit to the Lions for a comprehensive win and demolishing the Wallabies scrum. It was sad to see the Wallabies employ some of the inane kicking used by the Tahs last year.

If there ever was a silver lining, Deans will finally be shown the door.

As for talk of Chieka being a candidate for Wallabies coach? Too early. Still has stacks to do at the Tahs. Maybe for RWC 2019.

Will post when sober.

Ps. Well done Lions. Comprehensively better and fantastic fans. Best (and most painful) sporting event I've ever attended.

PPs. Whisky seems appropriate.
Like is not enough - agree re Lions quality and fans, and the pain of such an abject Wallabies performance. I have followed this path tonight. Whisky is helping. Neat, with some ice.

I am truly hoping that for the upcoming rugby championship, under the leadership of our new coach (whom ever that may be) that we pick the most IN FORM players for each position from the Australian Super rugby conference. I don't care how much experience they have, you have to start somewhere. Yes I understand that Super rugby is different from test rugby, but after tonight's performance i'd rather slot in Mogg at fullback than Beale.

So, judging by current super 15 form, my team would look like this:
1. Robinson
2. Moore
3. Slipper
4. Pyle
5. Horwill (c)
6. Kimlin
7. Gill
8. Mowen
9. Genia
10. To'omua/Foley
11. Speight
12. Leali'ifano
13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14. Folau
15. Mogg

16. Fainga'a
17. Kepu
18. McMeniman
19. Hooper
20. Phipps
21. O'Connor
22. Godwin
23. Tapuai

This team is taking into account our current injury list: Ioane, Pocock, Higgenbotham, McCabe, White, TPN just to name a few.

Take a look at this squad. So many in form players at the moment. Yes it is full of Brumbies, but they ARE the BEST Australian team in super rugby currently. This is an obvious long shot, but it's what Australian rugby needs. A new coach, and a new squad. Re-vamp it. Bring in young, talented players, who lack arrogance and are humble and proud to wear the jersey. Some of the players these days, don't have any respect. Beale is not in form, O'Connor has been playing out of position etc..

Just home, been a big day but congrats to the lions. Too big, too accurate and too well drilled. I went for a piss and missed the best part of our game. Anyways it's only 12 more years and well. Be back, twelve more years boys, remember that pain.

I don't think they deserve it. We played shit. They got away with everything. We need to play to the ref. but then it Wouid of been a shit test because of the way it was reffed. The lions should of had cards considering we did for
Nothing. Fucking bull shit

Shigs, pull your fucking head in mate. Refs don't win or lose you games. I'm sick of your constant harping on that.

They were more physical and better than us tonight and that's just the beginning and end of it.
Go fuck your self mate. The ref didn't win the game but he surely helped. He's scrums were bias as fuck! And then they scores
A try from a forward pass. What else do u want.

I am a but bias as well right is mate. I've had 15 stubbed and watched it delayed. Probably not the best.

But it was still bias. Refing. The ref was the best example. Te game is different down here. Simple as that
