That was the worst performance by the ABs in quite some time. There were many uncharacteristic errors in attack and they lacked on-field leadership when they needed it most. In the past you would have bet good money on them pulling that one out of the fire with 5 mins to go. Take nothing away from Los Pumas. It was a stirring performance by them.
Just as Rennie and co came up with a very effective game plan in our last test, I expect them to do the same again this week. He will not make the same mistake as the ABs brains trust and take these blokes lightly. There was nothing new there from Argentina, they just did what they normally do much better and for more minutes in the match.
We have a lot of pace and ability out wide. I imagine that we will use it as well as a much more effective kicking game. Yes, we need to front up at the coal face, but thats a given in every test.
