Aussie Super Rugby trials

Somebody asked if a thread for trials should be set up.

I didn't think there'd be enough traffic for each trial so I said I would start up one for all Aussie trials.

Maybe it's a wrong call but here it is.


From a Waratahs' point of view I think they are considering the second and third trials (in NZ) as the major focus, and that non-core players will get more of a run at Wagga Wagga against the Brumbies than they will in NZ.

Almost worth the effort of jumping on the Iron Horse at Central to head up to Gosford to watch. From memory, it will be <$20 one way trip.

I reckon it will be a good game.

Excellent. They could get a fair number of clicks onto that Reds TV stream, too.

Mainly coz it's FREE and has been decent quality in the past.

A few rugby-starved Trans-Tasman punters might tune in to see some fifteen-a-side footy ... after Day 1 of the sevens has provided the tasting plate.
