Tom Wright is the most solid? In what sense.

I like the guy, but he is solid in neither physicality nor consistency.
And who else? Koroibete used to be but now he's in Japan. Even Toni Pulu got a call and if Vunivalu scored 3 tries, Rennie is going to call him.

Changed your mind pretty quick on that one
Nop, I wouldn't call him for 3 tries but Rennie could do it. I mean, it's one of the highest paid in RA, he went on an End of the year tour without playing a minute in Super Rugby.

Nah, Wallabies didn’t have an end of year tour in 2020

Right, so when you said he'd need to score 5 tries a game to be a contender you weren't talking about Wallaby selection, you were talking about your own fantasy rugby side, good to know.

It doesn't matter the number, he has to play a good rugby to get a call IMO. Rennie has picked him without Super Rugby games to involve in Wallabies environment.

Rennie said that he wants him, that's a fact:

You realise Simmons has over 100 test caps & Phipps over 70 & both got picked by 3 different test coaches.

Look, I’m happy to agree coaches sometimes back the wrong horse and some guys face less competition than others do for their spots, but bagging guys who’ve earned significant caps across multiple coaches just seems a bit daft to me. They’ve clearly got ability at the top level even you can’t see it.

Edit: actually Simmons was selected by 4 different test coaches

How long have u been in this forum? The jokes were always about the selections of Simmons and Phipps...

I’ll cop that I didn’t realise it was a joke.

I still think it’s pretty disrespectful.

Edit: but, to be fair, I’ve made my own share of jokes where I bag players who I actually rate to mock wider public sentiment. So, no probs. If I misunderstood your intent I apologise.
