Most relevant thing for the top 14 this week is if Pau get a win and Bayonne lose in their last game, Matt Philip will be available for the French tests, otherwise he will miss the entire series due to relegation playoff matches

Rumours going around that Bernard Foley will sign for San Diego Legion in the MLR. Surprisingly he’s on 31. If he is looking for a new spot the Force could do a lot worse than bring him in for a year or two until Pasitoa is ready to take over. McIntyre isn’t good enough

Well he should be available now. He scored a try in the 82min to seal a dramatic win and avoid relegation. One downside now tho is that Pau are chasing Maddocks. Regain one, lose another

Good performance, he scored two tries! Seems he has a license to be more wide ranging and pops up at the right time.

Former All Blacks midfielder Malakai Fekitoa is switching his international rugby allegiance to Tonga.
The 29-year-old is one of four former New Zealand and Australian internationals who will represent the kingdom in next weekend's final Olympic Sevens Repechage tournament in Monaco. The others are former Wallabies forward Lopeti Timani, ex Australian sevens international Afusipa Taumoepeau and Tasman winger Tima Fainga'anuku, who is a former New Zealand sevens representative.
Pretty cool. Good luck to Timani, keen to see how he goes. If they could represent the teams in XVs, the islands would be stacked.

We can scratch Lopeti Timani from Aussies abroad mentions in the future, he’s nominated to play for Tonga in the Olympic 7s tournament along with Fekitoa. So will qualify for a switch through the Olympic loophole

Wouldn't be surprised to see Timu, Tapuai, Meehan and Mogg all go to the same place
Force
Timu - Lezana
Tapuai - Taefu?
Mogg - Kearney
Meehan - Cubelli

Just out of interest I see Sef Faga'ase is playing in New England in MLR now.
He struggled to hold a spot over here in NZ, and I had wondered where he went.
