Carter knocks on (TBF probably wasn't expecting the pass) & it's all over red rover, Blues 18-12 Brumbies & both pick up a bonus point.

Only managed to watch the very start and end of the second half, but it seemed to be a bit of an all round cripple fight?

But looking at the match stats, Gatland must've contacted Blues-itis. Plays for Hamilton Boys and monotonously kicks goals like Neil Jenkins reincarnate. Comes to the Blues and kicks like big Charlie Faumuina after an all nighter down Ponsonby-K Road.

3 tries to 0 and the shit-for-brains Blues STILL gave the Bumbreeze a chance to nick it at the end. Which, of course, the Bumbores shelled, as they had all afternoon.

Nope, the Glumbies, Aus’s best team, didn’t even look like scoring a try vs NZ’s worst team.

Fairly torrid viewing, felt like a NH match, NZ’s worst team dragged down to the level of Aus’s best team

Pulu was shit. Slow as treacle, handbraking the whole shebang bang bang out wide. The pass on Joe Powell is fantastic even though he looks like one of the drama club 4th formers that Pulu probably used to beat up when Pulu was still in the 2nd form.

That was awful and arrogant performance from the brumbies. What makes them think their so good to play out of there own half? kick the bloody thing the corners, chase hard and earn the right to play. How many games go by with our forwards standing there looking at the other team dominate the ruck.

Whose the replacement for Hawera? surely there's a better SS flyhalf running around. He's doesn't know were to stand. Getting worse.

Only highlight were Joe Powell and Tom Banks. Everyone else as bog average.

Nah, there's not........

In fact, Australian flyhalf stocks are so bad that he's probably one of the better performing 'Aussie' flyhalves this year.

I think the jury's out on Lolo though........ would like to see Hyne given another shot.

It would also be nice to see JJH given more than 30 seconds of match time every week.......

Silm i really find that hard to believe. He's that bad i'd rather be giving JJH a go and looking to the future.

Nah, Hawera has done better than what was expected off him....... he's certainly far from being the worst performing Brumby.

You have to give credit to the Blues though...... 96% tackle success, and they spent more than 2/3 of the game down in Brumbies territory.

Deegan and Mack were both pretty good for the Wicks and Beasties respectively on Saturday in what was a far better match to watch.

Only if your Slim.

QC (Quade Cooper) has played well when he has been semi fit, though as always judging on his 2011 form gives one overly high expectations when none of the players around him are anywhere near 2011 form/skill.

Foley has also been Foley, kicking the goals and generally playing a pretty rounded game without massive doses of flair. The only player in the Tahs not to drop the ball when passed to him.

Lance has also performed far better than most would have given him any hope of doing.

For mine the Brumbies approach to the game was displayed at the end of the first half, kick for the corner and just EXPECT to take the lineout and drive it over, as soon as it didn't go to plan they had no idea what to do and even when it was obvious the ball was about to be locked up there was no urgency to clear it from the maul, because that is the Brumbies go to set piece and cannot fail, just it has a few times in exactly the same fashion this year. As Louie said it smacked of arrogance.

youd expect the brumbies to be coached by a former tight five player, not australias bst 10 in the last generation. its weird

Not really, Larkham has pretty much no experience as a head coach (yet is somehow already anointed as the next Wallabies HC) and I never bought into the whole Larkham is wonderful at 10 rubbish, he was perfect for the constant recycle shuffle the ball game Macqueen played is all.

To spell it out only you with your bent and blinded Brumbies galsses could think that Hawera is even close to the three 10s I named. Obviously because the Brumbies have the best PD in the conference he must be the best, what was today's result 3 tries to nil, but we kicked plenty of goals.

Wow, Gnostic..........

I'm amazed you can become so worked up over something I never said.

I never said that he was better than those players........

I stated that he we playing better than what was expected of him considering he was drafted last minute from NZ club rugby, and had been one of the better performing Aussie 10's this year due to the performances from other players considering guys like Foley and Lance have missed some game time, Cooper has been well below his best, and the other contenders have been very poor.

I suppose it's too much to expect an apology for such a childish, personal overreaction on your part?
