Righto, it's been announced that AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will make his decision this arvo at approx 4pm Canberra time

This has the potential to become like LeBron James' move to Miami...perhaps we need a one hour special on FoxSports leading up to his announcement "I'm going to take my talents to...Sydney", leaving behind a bitter and twisted hometown where he was the only remaining ray of light.

Except I still think he's got a little too much class for that.

The Waratahs would then have to hold a championship celebration tomorrow afternoon with the stadium full of hysterical fans for it to match up.

Obviously the least likely part of all of the above is a stadium full of fans.

Probably been discussed before but it's a shame the ARU can't introduce a 'transfer period' at the end of the Super season, say, three to four weeks where players can jump ship to another team.

It must be a real distraction for clubs, and the fans, to know that one of their good players already has his bags packed and ready by the back door so early in the season.

I wish he would stay in the ACT. The brumbies need him and I would rather the tahs develoepd a young player.

As much as this centralisation of talent annoys me, it does greatly increase the chances of an Aussie Super win. This cannot be a bad thing for Australian rugby overall.

Especially considering a raft of kiwis are set to go offshore next season, with Sivi the latest to confirm.

To me, this highlights further issues in the current ARU central contracting process..
Is it fair that the Brumbies lose Giteau, Elsom and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) all in one season yet wont have any more money or incentives(other then opportunity) to entice players to the club.

Is it fair that NSW will have a squad worth $millions more then the Brumbies and Force?

The tags have a great talent before and done nothing. They really need a proven coach to make it work. No excuses now

Would requiring players to play where they are told be a better option?

9 McCibbon
10 Beale
11 Mitchell
12 Barnes
13 Horne
14 Turner
15 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

wouldn't be a bad side

The rumours suggest he is going and he would make a good replacement for Kelleher @ Toulouse as they both play the same robust, direct style from 9.

I recall the rumors, just checking if I'd missed any announcement.

It'll be tough for McKibbin to hit the ground running next year if Burgo keeps playing the minutes he is currently. But McKibbin is definitely a good prospect.
