17s need to win with bonus points in both games. That will tie on table with Logan but will go through becuase they won on the head to head

I thought Logan were on 19 (4 wins and 3 BP's) and WA on 11 (2 wins, 1 draw and 1 BP. If that's right, then WA 17's need only to fall over the line in the last 2 games.

"Falling" might be all they can manage, given they have today to recover from what sounds like a torrid Logan fixture, before playing North Coast Saturday and Bris. Orange on Sunday.

apologies all points tables change more than a stock market WA should get through just by winning Go WA

Bonus point win but not WA's best game by far and valiant effort by the North Coast boys, especially towards the end.

Big game for pool C U15's Purple V Pink, winner to top that pool.
Hard one to call, very even sides.

Pool C v Pool D final at Ballymore on Tuesday night for both 15's and 17's.

Venue and timing makes complete sense from a cost perspective but 6 games between Monday 9 March and
Tuesday 17 March is really tough for the young WA players!!

Brisbane Pink 17
Brisbane Purple 5

Purple tried to out muscle Pink upfront but we're unable to convert effort into points.

Victoria through to final again in both 15's and 17's.

In 15's Vic beat Illawarra 27-7, while 17's won 80-0.

On a related note, in 2016 it would be great if the ARU assigned someone to update the JGC website. Potentially a great resource but not much good if it isn't current.

Under 15's game. Pink are a very classy team out wide. Plenty of pace on show. Their forwards put on a really gutsy effort today to hold a good forward pack in the Purple team, who tried hard all game but couldn't get it right. Tuesday night against WA should be a cracker!

North Harbour u15s 50 or 60 beat Western Sydney 20+
South Harbour u17s 22 beat Nth West Sydney 0
U17s North v Wests was close when we left

^^^ Are you game enough to do the referee course to increase the average skill level of the referee pool?

If already qualified, how about doing a Referee Coach course in order to mentor the inexperienced junior refs that insult you so much, and in doing so you contribute to an increase the average skill level within the referee pool.

Can only say junior refs at this level is an insult.
Best Comp should have the best refs, full stop!

Agree 100% the standard has ranged from weak to very poor. It has cost teams games due to the poor standards.
Develop elite players but develop elite refs to do the games as well. Best senior refs should be doing all these games to showcase the game as well as the players

As Hugh says above, feel free to put your hand up.

Do we have confirmed result that Vic 17's can move on to the semi final next week or did Sydney North Harbour do enough v Sydney West to win the group?
