Feel like our forwards can dominate here but the stop start has held them back. They often attack solo into a trio of D strength. Holloway is fabulous in the line out, keep it going we'll get fruit soon enough. Scrum penalties have not allowed the scrum to roll, just have to cope. our maul is better I reckon.

The halve combination needs improvement but good to see White and Quade chatting. I think Quade is in everything, don't understand the dissing here. Paisami is quiet and needs to find a way in to the game. Ditto most of the back line, though Koroibete is looking for work. Mostly the backline hasn't been fired because we don't hole enough phases to bring them in.

The ref is pedantic and technical, yes sometimes he leans on the technical issue in front of his nose rather looking more broadly but it isn't as if he's blowing up without cause. We just have to get more accurate.
Ireland showed how to value possession. They are so clinical with their pods and clean outs. We're trying to keep width, but the support at the breakdown isn't good enough at times. They (Ireland) also control the tempo well, with the 9 slowing the game before they execute almost NFL style plays where they suddenly accellerate the pace. Our desire to keep tempo high, flow doesn't work when the cohesion and accuracy isn't there. We're trying to force things and we're invariably piggybacking them down the field.
