Very glad that Hooper gets to play, when he was introduced to the game in the Brumbies loss in Brisbane it changed the contest, so all good from that perspective.

BUT.

Seriously, WTF is with these "Off-Field Yellow's"!?!

What is the point? Anyone?

It means that their card is marked. So for future indescretions they can't claim first offence. I think there might also be a 3 yellows in a season & your automaticly suspended.

If you get more than X you miss Y games (I can't remember if its 3 cards and 1 game).

I think there might also be a 3 yellows in a season & your automaticly suspended.

Well good. I'm glad that there is at least a point to it... though I would suggest that if it's not deemed worthy of an actual suspension it's arguably not significant enough to count on your record... but if they're consistant that's fine.

I wonder if, at the end of the judgment, the judicial officer stands up, and actually shows Hooper the yellow card.

Maybe the judicial officer posts it to him if the judgment is handed down later.

This is a joke of a decision. The inconsistency is appaling. The judiciary panel needs an uppercut. I personnally believe that the rulings, bought into stop spear tackling have gone over the top. How Hooper gets off (and it not his fault- good luck to him) after previous decisions makes a mockery of the process. Unbelievable judicial officers, no credibility
